ARCADIA GIVEAWAY!

It’s been almost two years since myself and Philip launched noisecreations during our days at University, and to celebrate the occasion we have decided to give everyone a chance at winning 1 of 2 copies of our latest sound collection, ARCADIA!

This sound collection has been crafted with retro gaming in mind, however, there are also loads of other sounds included such as Interfaces, Monsters, and Foley that can be used in a variety of different productions.

ARCADIA Launch + New Bundles

Hi everyone!

We launched our new sound collection yesterday, ‘ARCADIA’ which contains 983 retro styled sound effects. We have been really looking forward to releasing this collection so please check it out and let us know what you think! Click HERE to go to the ARCADIA page.

We have now released a total of 5 different sound collections, with our AURA collection containing an additional 3 versions. As we continue to expand our range of audio library’s, we are now starting to bundle some of the similar collections together, which can then be purchased at a cheaper cost than buying them both separately. Update – New Website + ‘Debris’ Collection

Just thought I would write an update on what’s going on with noisecreations at the moment. Me and Phil have been very busy recently with the end of year 2 at university, as well as many other projects, but we are looking to get things back on track in the coming months.

We are currently having our website updated, which we hope to launch next week. Here is a little preview of the new front page:

Whilst this was being updated, we also made plans and gathered some resources for our next sound collection, ‘Debris’. We’re really looking forward to starting production on this project, as we can utilise our gained knowledge and feedback from our last collection to make this one even better.

Once production has started, we will post another update with our ideas for the collection, which we could hopefully improve with some of your suggestions!

After many late nights of editing this week, we have finally finished our first sound effects collection! It contains 252 sounds over 85 files, and contains sounds from glass pane smashes, to footstep crunches.

Health and Safety

Its official.

Not only has sweat been poured into this project, but now we can add blood to the list as well. Whilst recording some small glass panes for the first NoiseCreations sound effects library, a piece flew out and cut down Phil’s lip, but like a true professional, he took a couple of seconds of silence after the take before running inside. He didn’t want to add tears to the list though…

We still managed to finish up the recording session today, but our plan to release it by the end of February won’t be possible, as we are currently looking for bigger panes of glass for bigger impacts. We aren’t having much luck finding them at the moment, so if you know anywhere that have unwanted panes of glass, let us know.

‘Glass’ Sound Effects Collection

`Here is the state of our back garden after a few recording sessions for our first sound effects collection which we’re simply calling, ‘Glass’. We have tried to include as many variations of glass smashes (and sometimes not smashing) into this pack as possible, from the big smashes to small shards shattering, we hope that their will be enough variation in this pack to easily fit into any production.

So far we have been recording mirrors, glass bottles, glass jars, and glass tumblers, but we will also be getting some panes of glass  in soon.

We are hoping to make this pack available by the end of February.
